What's New at Rollie: A Big Start to 2026
It's been a busy few months at Rollie Jobs. While you were wrapping up Q4 and planning for the new year, our team was heads-down building, and we're excited to share what's changed.
If you've been following along since we first started rolling last fall, the platform you saw then has grown significantly. Here's a look at what's new and what it means for your organization.
Ask Rollie Anything (Seriously)
Our AI-powered chat assistant, Rollie Chat, got a major upgrade. You can now upload documents (PDFs, workforce reports, or grant narratives) directly into a conversation and ask Rollie to analyze them alongside your real-time job data.
Need to know how your region's current job openings align with a workforce grant you're applying for? Just upload the RFP and ask. Rollie will pull in live data, cross-reference it, and give you a clear answer. No spreadsheets required!
We've also made it faster, smarter, and easier to share. You can now share Rollie Chat conversations with colleagues, so insights don't get stuck in one person's inbox.
Job Seeker Tools: A New Way to Support Your Community
One of the biggest additions to the platform is our Job Seeker module, a built-in set of tools designed for organizations that work directly with job seekers.
Think of it as a lightweight CRM purpose-built for workforce services. You can:
Track job seekers with profiles, status updates, and case notes
Get resume feedback with suggestions for improvement
Match seekers to jobs using Rollie's live job data
Let job seekers apply directly through public-facing job pages tied to your region
Monitor progress with application tracking and viewed-status indicators
Whether you're a workforce board managing participants or an economic development org helping displaced workers, this module gives you a centralized place to manage it all without bolting on another tool.
Multiple Job Boards, One Platform
You asked, we built it. Rollie now supports multiple job boards per organization.
Running a regional EDO that covers several counties? Want one board for your downtown district and another for a specific industry cluster? You can now create and manage separate boards, each with their own focus area all from a single Rollie account.
Each board comes with built-in analytics, so you can see exactly how many people are viewing and engaging with job listings. And with semantic search, your community members can find jobs using natural language instead of rigid keyword filters. Just type "marketing jobs near me" and Rollie takes care of the rest.
Classify Jobs Your Way
Every region has its own way of thinking about jobs. Maybe you track "advanced manufacturing" separately from general manufacturing, or you need to flag jobs that require a CDL. Rollie's new Job Classifications tool lets you define custom categories using plain English rules and Rollie's AI takes care of the rest.
Just describe what you're looking for (e.g., "jobs that require a nursing license" or "entry-level positions in the skilled trades"), and Rollie will automatically classify every job in your region. You can create as many classifications as you need, and they show up as filters on your job boards so your community can browse by the categories that matter most to them.
Smarter Maps and Better Data Visualization
We've upgraded our mapping engine to give you a clearer picture of job activity across your region. The new system uses hexagonal geographic indexing, which means smoother, more accurate visualizations of where jobs are concentrated, which is especially helpful when you're presenting to stakeholders or building a case for site selection.
Dynamic clustering adjusts automatically as you zoom in and out, so you always see the right level of detail for the view you're looking at.
A Significantly Improved Job Discovery Engine
Under the hood, Rollie's job discovery engine, the system that finds, collects, and organizes job postings across your region, has been significantly improved. Jobs are discovered faster, matched more accurately, and updated more reliably. The result: better data quality across the board, from your dashboards to your job boards to your Rollie Chat conversations.
A Website Built for You
We've also expanded rolliejobs.com beyond a simple landing page. You'll now find dedicated pages tailored to the types of organizations we work with:
See It for Yourself
We know a blog post can only show so much. The best way to understand what Rollie can do for your community is to see it in action.
Book a demo and we'll walk you through the platform using real data from a region like yours. No slides, no sales pitch, just a live look at how Rollie works.
We're building Rollie to be the easiest way for communities to understand their local job market. These updates are a big step in that direction, and we're just getting started.
